Three Talking Points | Chesterfield FC VS Stockport County

Competitive edge:  Going into the clash with Stockport County the Spireites certainly weren’t the favourites after conceding a last minute goal away at Torquay on Tuesday night and Stockport’s ruthless start.  Before a ball was kicked between the two Stockport had accumulated nine points from a possible twelve. As well as coming from behind in games to grab maximum points showing their resilience and quality.  Stockport are without a doubt one of the favourites to go up this year after spending big on the likes of John Rooney, James and Connor Jennings, and Jordon Williams.  However, the Spireites still competed well with the Greater Manchester outfit. Not only did the blues defend well for majority of the game but they also looked dangerous especially through set pieces.
